Ipoh Mali
As a continuity of my prev posting.. here I share some pics of a short stopover in Ipoh on our journey to KL last Raya break...
We reached Ipoh about 8.30am, having that went to a coffee shop called Thean Chun for the Ipoh BeanSprout and Chicken Hor Fun, this stall is not the best stall of all but for daytime, that's the best we can get. That coffeeshop sells a variety of other foods too like beef noodles, popiah, chee cheong fun and even satay.. we did try out the satay and is was quite good.
Then we went to the famous egg tart stall, but to our dismay we were quite late. All sold out. On that day itself since being holiday, a lot of KL or even ppl from other states went up specially to Ipoh like us.. anyway.. it was a lesson. next time we should either to go to the stall exceptionally early or do a prebooking 1st. :)
However we did manage to taste the best tau foo fah of Ipoh town. By the time we were there there's a queue already... and as we ordered, the queue builds up even longer.. wow.. however it is really worth the wait. The curd was really really smoooth and it just melts in your mouth. The gravy is not too sweet either.. YUMMy!
