Jacky Cheung Concert - Jacky World Tour 07

Last month on 20/1/08, Me and a few colleagues went for Jacky Cheung's concert! It is actually my first time going to any concert of any kind. I'm really thrilled!

At first I didn't know about the concert until a fellow colleague of mine told me that she will be goin with her bf .. From then on I'm quite interested to go.. Jacky Cheung ... a great singer.. and he is getting old.. he might not hold any concert in the future.. I really want to go...

At 1st before knowing.. some of my colleagues are talking about the up coming Jay Chou concert on Feb 23 2008.. it's also a nice one.. Then i told my apartment mates in Jakarta (my colleagues) that i'm interested to go to Jacky's concert.. they are excited and wanted to go too.. and one week before the concert.. there is actually an additional show of the concert being held as tickets for the original 2 show have alredy been sold out... we got those ticket for the additional show last minute... and cost us a bomb too ! RM340 per person !! HAHAHA.. it's worth it... imho, got quite some nice seats.

On 20/1, we drove up to Genting.. the nite b4 i was still in Penang.. had some food poisoning tat caused me to run in and out of the toilet the whole nite.. a pain.. i was so nervous i cant make it.. else..rm340 flown.. haha.. thou things start to get better through the nite and the next morning on the bus trip back to KL, i slept all the way... making it to my rented room then after resting and freshened up.. we made our way to Genting.

We really enjoyed the concert! At 1st it was a bit dull so we decided to do some "syok sendiri" stuff like screaming.. waving.. we were sitting quite front.. there are many uncle and aunties.. couples..they are actually influenced by our excitement n decided to join in the fun... so nice.. to see a loving pair of auntie and uncle enjoying those classic love songs by Jacky.. which i enjoyed througout too.. i'm just 25 but.. as a 80's baby i am exposed to jacky's classic songs too :). Songs like "Mui Thin Ngoi Nei Tor Yat Se" "Han Seong Yat Sang Kan Nei Chao" etc , really is soooo nice.. On that day, jacky actually is down with flu.. but he do his best to perform and finish the whole 3 hour show. We were lucky that he did not cancel the show.

The concert ended around 11.45pm.. we then drove back and i stayed a nite at my colleague's house before departing from her house to the airport straight to Jakarta the next morning. It was tiring but worth it... :D
