Yo peeps..

It's been a long time since i blogged. Been a wee bit bz.

Anywayz.. I'm now @ Ho Chi Minh/Saigon, Vietnam. Was assigned here since 2 weeks back for the mockrun and cutover of HLB Vietnam project.

Today.. i'm just lazing in my hotel room. It's quite a dreadful thing for me to roam around HCM, i felt that this city lacked the sense of security and the weather is sooooo damn hot, totally no mood to walk around.

Besides, the sight is not realli a pleasant one either, and sometimes when you walked along the sidewalk, you can smell a stench... yucks.. fyi, it's actually someone's urine.. urgh... i just dread rainy days... cos when u walk along the street and it's all wet.. both urine + rain water mixed together... double yuck. So try to stay away from walls!!!!

So now you understand y i like to stay in my hotel ? LOL.... I miss Switzerland all of a sudden. I roamed Lucern by myself when i was there back then, the air was cool n fresh and VRY CLEAN and absolutely SAFE ! here in HCM, we were warned by the locals not to carry a backpack, ppl might snatch or just cut it through. Dangerous!

This weekend could be a better weekend. Initially we were planning for a trip down to the famous Mekong Delta river but due to some unforseen circumstances, we cancelled the trip. Well it's ok.. at least i saved up :P anyway.. it's just a river similar to the one in Bangkok, so if i ever travelled to Bangkok one day, mayb i'll enjoyed it even more there being my 1st experience.

In all, HCM city is a vry messy city i would say, perhaps it is due to it having almost 2 million residents in HCM alone. The traffic was chaotic with traffic coming in all sort of directions. The people here are not so educated, and most of the time not very hygenic. Hopefully in about 10 years or so, the lifes of the people here can improve.
