Happy New Year !!

happy new year 2006 !! wao! it's already a new year n i am getting old!!! anyway my new year celebration for tis year is simple but nice.. at around 8pm new year's eve.. me and my housemates left home and head to ikano to see some fireworks display marking the new year.. the celebration was widely advertised in radios and even newspapers.. well for us young ones.. hey y not join the fun? so off we go.. in kl actually there's a number of places tat we can see the fireworks but ikano sounds cooler n should not be so packed and is actually quite near to PJ compared to KLCC or Sg Wang area.. we went there for dinner as well... when we finally made it there.. it's already 9.30 and one thing was that there's still plenty of parking! haha.. wonder y.. anyway we went to Halo Cafe for dinner and the place was really packed.. however we do managed to get a table.. well actually a tiny table for 5 of us.. one more thing bout Halo was that.. the food is definetely overpriced and not tat nice.. thumbs down..maybe it's new year.. the quality dropped? but why the hell would they specially charged us 20% service charge for the bad service?.. well no more halo again! it's BYE ! hahaha the singers there was bad as well.. no quality la.. like they say.. karaoke singer yala.. but one word.. kenot!!

after dinner.. we went to the place where the celebration is being held..not really a bang..but a so so show.. ferhad,nian shao(chinese singer) and ella sung..other's not sure as we went shopping 4 a while but nothing much as most of the shop was closing .. then it's the countdown!! i got quite a good spot of witnessing the fireworks.. and then 10 9 8 .... 2 1 ! yay!! new year n there's fireworks display.. so nice !! 10 minutes it went.. vry vry nice.. then traffic jam!!! hahaha some idiot block the road of the parking.. n cause a massive trafifc jam.. then we wnet for supper around DU to avoid the jam .. aafter makan we go straight home! tired llo.. and i've even got church at 9 this morning!! went to church .. now here i am blogging.. tomolo i am goin to times square for some shopping.. CNY coming lo ... have to change look.. hahah..

btw.. on friday.. i went to midvalley to for a birthday gathering with my colleagues.. this time's wong choi n pei dan's bday (nicknames :P) !! all in dec 20 n 31st.. celebrate together lo.. we went to manhattan fish market to dine.. the food was nice.. slightly pricy but good place for seafood.. one thing thou.. high colesterol!! hahaha.. and for the first time in my life i ate FRESH OYSTERS !! yes the real thing..!! with lemon juice.. it's was okay.. nice.. but one cannot eat much.. a bit.. wat u call tat.. err.. the smell.. fishy? no no.. raw seafood smell?? get me? ya tat.. after dinner we went over to the christmas deco area of middvalley n took photos..it's really quite enjoyable..next time.. we r going 4 a buffet instead hahaha... saisaki when they reopens from renovation.. hopefully..ahahha.. cos dunno y all of a sudden many jap food rest tat serves good food goes bye bye.. including oishi !! too bad!!
