what a week !
well..i'm back in my hometown again..in penang.. i think it should be the festive season ! i am extremely positive and happy this few days as everything just seems to go the right way.. that's cool.
a week before i was sick. i went to a camping trip in port dickson and mayb due to the foods or lack of sleep i was ill. Had fever, a cold and some stomach discomfort that lead to nauseaness and vomiting. Well, what a week...the week that i am sick, i did not shower or take a bath for 3 consecutive days ! whoo! i stink like mad ! .. :)
Guess what? that particular week when i was ill, it so happens that i need to take my midterm test for a math paper.. Mathematics of Life Insurance and Financial Markets. Boy was i devastated, i am ill, how am i suppose to take the test? i din't even attend classes the whole week.. no tutorials, how am i gonna keep up for the test?
Well, i managed to get a medical leave from the doctor for the test, tried my best to recover asap bcos i've already bought my tickets to go back to my hometown and also for the test. Called my lecturer up to arrange for a makeup test which was scheduled just a day before my trip back to penang. Wow !
However, nothing is smooth, i have to take the test in the lecturer's office, that particular lecturer is from another faculty which it's building is quite a distance from our faculty block. Had to take the university's bus in order to get there. The incident of taking the bus was hilarious. I was blur, i did not know when and where to take the bus and there's no one seem to take the bus the bus is empty. And in the end i managed to board the bus and found out that i'm the only passenger ! hah !
met a lecturer, mr.low a friendly lecturer during my way to the building. he asked why am i here and was curious as i am not a student of that faculty :D. anyway i told him that i need to take a test and off he go with some fellow lecturers to lunch.
I took the test, in the lecturer's office, the environment is almost like dilbert style :) all cubicles, i got a table of my own.. and a chair that can twist and turn as i am answering the test hahaha.. after the test i tried to catch a cab back to my rented room, but to no avail, that area does not have much cab running around so after that i;ve decided to take the uni bus again but have to wait till it's 3pm and that time is just 2.30 pm, well it's better than nothing !
finally the bus came and this time it was packed with people ! i got back to my rented room at 3.30 but after a distance of walking as i was blur i stopped in a stop a further than the one i am suppose to stop. well i didn't know the bus will stop in front, or else i won't was my time walking.. oh well ! it's good that i manage to get back !
that night i packed my stuff planning to head back to penang.
the next day i catch a cab to class as i need to carry the bag that i packed as i will head straight to the bus station after lecture. i shared a cab with my roommate as she is goin to the faculty that i've been to the day before and it is too late to catch the uni bus to class.
during lecture, the lecturer is giving us back our exam papers. the one that i took just a day before, wow ! the best thing is that i did well in it ! i am so happy n impressed! well it's really out of the blue as i did not really study for it as i am still in my sickly mood ! hahhaa.. all the trouble paid off anyway ! and the trip home was smooth as well, i reach home to penang in just 4 hours and i get to board an earlier bus than the one scheduled.. wow ! ..
now i am enjoying myself back at home in penang, enjoying the air-conditioning for the holidays..althou a bit bored but i am pretty much happy ! :)
